Not from REI, but from my JOB. Our project is nearing the last phase, so I've been extremely busy these last couple of weeks, and will be at least until the end of the month. I'll be off July 4th - 8th, and I need it. I've done almost nothing regarding REI as "life" has taken over. If it isn't working 10hr+ days, it's trying to make time for my family. I just can't wait for the day I can kiss the corporate world goodbye and actually work for ME for a change.
I hadn't heard back from the agent regarding that MF deal, so I emailed her yesterday for some more info (she's probably getting tired of me asking so many questions, but oh well). I told her I'd be willing to pay the owners their "$nnnnnn + $2,000" asking price, but I wanted a detailed list of what renovations they supposedly made.
I also need to touch base with the lender again. He was supposed to call me back with an answer about whether they can lend to an LLC I'm going to create for te deal or not. I have a feeling I won't get much done, though, until the first week of July.

hanks Trisha. It's been a crazy last few weeks. Funny thing is the agents I've been communicating with out-of-state have gone silent during this time. I had some outstanding qustions for them to answer, and haven't gotten anything. I have a feeling both deals are dead.
