House #1: City-planned Community Upgrade

We received our monthly sewer bill for House #1, and in it was proposed projects the city was planning for next year. One of the items listed was to upgrade the "lake" (it's actually a big pond) that sits in the community. The upgrade would include jogging paths, fishing docks, wildflower scenery, and on and on. This will be good news for us as it would no doubt raise the property values for the houses in this subdivision. I've never actually been to the "lake", so I'm not sure what kind of shape it is in currently, but the renovations will definitely be a good appreciation booster.
