4-plex and a Phone Call

Regarding the properties I found recently out-of-state, I decided to finally give the agent who had the 4-plex listed a call at lunch today. No one but the secretary was in the office, so she transferred me to their other office, and I spoke with a nice lady. She said the 4-plex I wrote about a few posts back was currently under contract, unfortunately. Rats! But, we got to talking for a few minutes about other things. I told her I was originally from the area, went to school close by, etc., and small talk like that. I asked if she could email me any properties she finds on the MLS (or otherwise) that were multi-family under $500,000. She said she'd be happy to do it. So, now I have a real estate contact, who can send me prospective properties in that area, saving me the burden of doing manual searches myself. Whoo-hoo! I guess that's one manual labor item I can take off my list now. :-)
