Email.
I wrote about this a couple years ago, too. Why do people have email addresses for the public to send them questions, comments, suggestions, etc., WHEN THEY DON'T EVEN RESPOND WHEN YOU SEND THEM ONE! It just irks me that in this day and age of technological advances, people are so quick to jump on the "latest and greatest" must have gadget and then they don't even use it.
I sent FOUR emails to FOUR different brokers/agents on Sunday and another email to another broker yesterday, regarding the properties I found. I didn't use a "Contact Us" online form, but actually dug for their direct email address. (Actually, I did try to send one email that way, but their stupid online form kept crashing internally every time I'd hit the Submit button.)
It's the dead of winter in WV right now, so I know these people aren't busy as all get out. Stranded and unable to get to their email? Possible, but in this era of "on demand" everything, I think they'd find a way to communicate.
I guess I'll have to do it the old fashion way - call them.
I prefer emailing over phone, though, mainly because with a phone call the person is obligated to drop what they are doing and listen to what you have to say (IOW, do a brain switch). With email, they can set aside a part of their day to devote themselves solely to answering emails (IOW, when they want - not when the other side wants). Oh well.

Not to defend them but.....
when you post your email address online you get subjected to 100s of spam per day. So unless you rchecking your email every few hours you could miss important email. It has happened to me. That may be part of the problem of why your not getting a response via email. try calling
No, it's true! I had a class yesterday for agents querying the MLS database. One of the first things the teacher asked was how many times a day each of us checked our email. Guess how many checked it daily?--Two out of twenty. I was one of the two. And, being that I check mine multiple times per day earned me stares from the rest of the room like I was an alien.
People really flipped out when they learned I use my phone to check email and faxes.
c - Very good reasoning, and I agree that is probably what is happening. If so, I'd ask the agents why their web site has their email address AND online form submission WHEN THEY DON'T USE IT. Seems like me putting up a billboard with my phone # and email address, and not even check my email. Lots of missed deals, if you ask me.
BTW, I have excellent spam filters at work and home that catch about 95-99% of the spam (I get about 2-3 in my inbox each day still).
Trisha - I guess being froma computer-literate background, people like us tend to use the "new and improved" gadgets instead of buying them and letting them collect dust. ;-P
