House #1: AC Fixed

My wife tried calling the AC repairman last Thursday to get an update. She left a message in the morning, and, not getting a call back, decided to call again in the afternoon. Still no answer. So, she called Friday morning and he answered. Turns out he scheduled a time with the tenant on Thursday evening and fixed the problem. He said the freon in the A/C was low and recharged it. (Since the AC unit is only 7-8 years old, I thought this was odd.) But, he said, there could be a slow leak (although, he didn't see one). So this MAY be a recurring problem - we'll just have to wait and see.

My wife told him to send us the bill, but to send the trip charge fee from Tuesday to the tenants, since we had it scheduled for that day and THEY didn't show (or call or email). I bet they'll be surprised when they open that piece of mail. :)

Just curious if you are going to be posting regularly again? I had actually deleted your blog from my favorites a while back as you said you were done but decided to check and you are posting again. The reason I ask is because I always enjoyed reading your blog!!

Hi Jason ... Yes, I'll be posting again, although, not with as much verosity as in the first couple of years. Just have a lot on my plate, and not enough minutes in the day to post about it all. I'll try to get 2-3 posts in a week from now on.
