Email, and Postcard Mailout #2

Email
I had a discussion here a long time ago on using emails to converse with people. I just can't understand why people don't seem to want to use it. I realize picking up the phone and talking to a "live" person is the best vehicle in getting information conveyed, but flat out ignoring emails has become almost routine for me.

Last Friday, I sent my old CPA an email. I still haven't heard from her.

This past Monday, I sent an email to the attorny's office I spoke about recently, asking some questions. No response.

Also this past Monday, I filled out and sent an online loan application to the lender I talked about recently. No response.

On Sunday, I sent an email to an ad for a HML I saw in a local circular. The guy responds in a matter of hours.

So FOUR emails sent, and only ONE response. Terrible. I thought if anyone would have responded by now it would have been the lender regarding my loan app. I realize last week was probably a holiday week for a lot of people, and maybe even this week, too. But surely I would have gotten a better response rate from those two companies.

Guess it's time to pick up the phone. My first question to all of them will be, "Did you get my ...?"

Postcard Mailout #2
I scheduled my second postcard mailout for today. With the way the system works, the postcards will actually go out this Friday or Saturday (I hope). Of course with my luck, they'll probably get delayed and go out next Monday. With only 5 calls, one voicemail, and no deals on my last mailout, my enthusiasm for getting one or more deals this time isn't as great. But I need to continue getting my name and message out there as I found out another FIVE properties in my farm area were foreclosed the last several months.
