Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable.

In my previous post, I mentioned how there have been 5 foreclosures in the past 6 months in one of the subdivisions in my farm area. I actually err'd in my research. There were more than 5 foreclosures in the last 6 months (I'm not sure how many, but I know it was more than 5). The surprising bit of news is that there were 5 since the beginning of May/2006! Unbelievable. Five in less than two months! Most were in the first two weeks of May, which just missed my first postcard mailout. The remaining occurred in-between. Since it takes no more than 3 weeks to foreclose in Texas, I figure the others were too late to save anyway (not impossible, but probably really hard). This bit of news just makes the drive to do all the things in my last post even more.

Both of you are absolutely right. Thanks. My only problem is time - something I've runn completely out of lately. I'm not trying to make an excuse as I could always squeeze some time somewhere, but just when I have a few minutes to catch up on filing, research, paperwork, yardwork, etc., something else pops up that requires my attention. I'm just glad I wrote some programs a while back to do a lot of the systematic processes, or I'd really be hurtiung now. I'm hoping that by coninuously placing bandit signs at the exits/entrances to the subdivision and focusing my postcard mailouts to only that (and maybe one other) subdivision, my passive marketing will generate leads so I don't have to spend time door knocking.
