I got in touch with a owner's sister minutes ago regarding how to contact the owner. I had tried a phone number I got by going to whitepages.com, but evidentally it was not the correct number (no wonder it kept dialing). Anyway, the sister gave me her number and said the best time to call would be at night, since she works. She said I could call now, since her daughter would be home, but I wouldn't get the owner herself (note: the sister sounded very happy to hear from me). She was also more than happy to give me not one, but two of the owner's personal email addresses!
The only bit of discouraging news was that the sister said someone else is interested in looking at the property this weekend. Not sure if that was a ploy or sincere honesty, but it definately makes me think I have sat too long in trying to strike a deal with this property.
