Agent is MIA
Last I talked with my agent was last Wed, I believe. She said she would be out last Thu and Fri, but didn't say when she'd be back (I assumed today). I thought I'd get an email from her today saying HUD has all the stuff they need and I can schedule the inspection. I tried emailing and calling, but have gotten nothing. I told everyone (utilities and inspection co.) last week that I'd probably call them this Wed to set up the inspection again, thinking HUD would drag their feet yet again. It turns out now that my agent is the one missing in the loop. Great. And here the electric to the property has been on since last Friday. I guess I can keep my fingers crossed I'll hear something tomorrow. If not, I'll call the electric company and have the jouce turned off until I can get to the bottom of this. If it ain't one thing, it's another ...

Why have the power turned off? It's probably only costing you a few pennies a day. If you have the power company go out there to turn it off (and then again to turn it back on), you're gonna get hit with connection charges. if you are worried about fire hazzards or someone using the place, just turn off power at the main circuit box and put a lock on it.
Hey, now that's a great idea! Wish I'd have thought of that sooner. BTW, I got a call from my agent's assistant a while ago wanting to get my fax # to send some documents over to sign. As soon as I get them, I'll give her a call back and see what the deal is (I didn't have time to talk before).
