Before I close on House #2, I'm also going to put a "For Lease" ad on Craigslist for it, too. It's about 300sf smaller and located further from major businesses/roads than House #1, so the rent will be smaller, too. I'm figuring somewhere in the $900's (probably $900-$950).
Also, I wanted to mention I heard on the local news the other night that a segment of the SH45 and SH130 corridors will be opening in Nov of this year - ahead of schedule, if you can believe it. Not all of the roads will be open, but everything near House #1 and House #2 will be open, so this is a HUGE plus for my marketing. The following is a map of the projects. I put my two houses on the map in red to show the proximity to the roads. The peice marked "Segment 2" (extending North/South and East/West) is the part scheduled to open this Nov.
