Okay, I'm not talking about HUD this time. Nope, this time I'm talking about the broker/underwriter I'm using to acquire this HUD. I mentioned before that I had never had to setup my own survey order before, and now the underwriter calls me this morning and starts asking me questions regarding the insurance. Huh? I recall signing a form asking me about if I wanted to choose my insurance or not, and chose "not". Now she's asking me for information regarding my coverage? What's doubley-bad is she says she needs the info today to send the binder to the lender ASAP. You gotta be kiddin me?!?! So, after calming down, I told her I'd get in touch with my insurance agent for House #1 to see what I can do.
I swear, as much leg work as I've done regarding the loans for this property to date, I think for now on I'll just do everything myself and save all the brokerage fees.
