One of the items the Buyer wanted me to do was have a licensed HVAC person re-inspect the unit as the general inspector noticed dirt build-up and dripping. The agent gave me a referral last week and I've been having a hard time getting the guy to come out (he claims the rain last week backed him up). He was originally scheduled to come out last Friday, but that got delayed until yesterday (Monday). Finally, at 9:15pm last night, I got a call from him saying one of his guys went out to the house and completed the service. I asked him to fax the invoice to the agent ASAP, so she can fax it to the Buyer's agent for the Buyer's review. I haven't even seen the invoice yet myself! Hopefully, the Buyer will give her stamp of approval and we can commence to closing - I'm guessing somtime early next week, but we'll see.
I got another call from an agent who said he has a client who wants to see House #1. I need to call/email the broker and tell him to take off the part about agent's needing to call me first. Both agents that have called said it's not a big deal, but they just don't see why I have it like that. To be honest, I'm not sure why it IS like that (I don't remember putting any wording in the docs I filled out to do such a thing).
