Offer #7 (revisited), Offer #18, and Bandit Signs

Offer #7
I submitted a preliminary offer of $70,000 to my agent for this property. My agent emailed me back and said that HUD has already turned down offers at $80,000, so my offer will definately be rejected. My $70k offer is about the max for this property, so I guess this one can be nixed.

Offer #18
I sent an email to my agent for an offer on a recently listed property. It appears not to be government-owned, so I won't need a $1,000 cashier's check to submit the offer (I hope). I haven't heard back from my agent on this one yet.

Bandit Signs
While driving to work this morning, I noticed two new "I Buy Houses" bandit signs right down the road from where I live. Both the phone numbers are new, so I'm guessing these are new REI's that are trying to break into the market. When I get a chance, I'll call both of them to see what their status is and to offer my services.

Excellent! I just found out from my agent that Offer #18 has a foundation leveling problem. She forwarded me the estimate from a local foundation leveling company, who did an analysis not too long ago on the property. The estimate came in below $10k, so I emailed my agent asking her to resubmit my offer $5k below my original request. We'll see.
