Happy (belated) Anniversary!

I was thinking the other day that it has been one year since I first picked up a book pertaining to REI, which got me started on my venture. The actual date was sometime in late September of 2004, so I'm a bit overdue on my anniversary. It's hard to imagine that a little over a year ago, I never knew the opportunities that existed with real estate investing, and here I am with one rental under my belt and a world of knowledge to get more. I admit I was highly skeptical - even after reading Kiyosaki's Retire Young, Retire Rich - but I now see my skepticism was fear in disguise.

Ironically, the person who first introduced me to Kiyosaki last September on an NBA message board, recently emailed me about the RE market in my neck of the woods. I hadn't heard from him in over 6-7 months, and out of the blue he's asking me about real estate. I can only imagine where I'd be if it weren't for him suggesting I read that book. I'm thankful for his suggestion, and I am deeply thankful to all those who read my blog and elsewhere and have shared ideas in helping me along on my venture.

Thank You ALL!
