House #2: Countered Again and Accepted

Well, our counter offer was met with another counter offer for $500 more. My wife wanted to just go with the original offer, but I decided to negotiate a little. I guess it paid off in another $500 our way. Unfortunately, after all is said and done, we will have lost some money on this property. Not a lot, relatively speaking, but any loss hurts. I guess I'll chalk that up to paying for a real life lesson. The agent still needs to fax over the contract and we need to sign it and send it back, so it will be until tomorrow morning before the contract is "official". In the meantime, I'll need to have the water turned back on so they can inspect the place, which means more money out-of-pocket (unless I can get them to pay for it).
