House #1 - Day 3

Today I did absolutely nothing to the property. My wife had an appointment after work and then we both had to run some errands, so I didn't have time to go by the property. I did manage to pick up some painting supplies, though, so it wasn't a total wasted day. I also found all the materials we used to paint our house last year. Aside from masking/painters tape, a couple rollers, plastic to cover the cabinets, and the paint itself, I already have everything. So, I purchased some plastic and a couple rolls of tape. We are supposed to meet the HUD closing agent at the place where we closed last Friday to pick up our reimbursment. Hopefully, that will all go well.

I also noticed one of the prospects from a couple of weeks ago is now back on the market. It's another HUD - or should I start calling them UGH's - so it requires a $1,000 cashier's check. I'm going to have to let this one go, because I don't have the funds right now to submit the offer. My agent also told me the status on another property I have a bid outstanding on. She said that FNMA decided to switch agents on this property, and she doesn't know if I'll need to resubmit my offer.
